Yushky eco-center
Current members: 2 families
Settlement description:
Yushky eco center is located in a spectacular district of Kyivska region. Living here is about changing the world, about implementing and testing the different concepts from creating a sun dryer for veegtables or an eco beehive to creating a worldwide eco village network.
The project was started in the village where other locals have been living before. Currently, the center is home to 2 families, and 60 other people come there temporarily to support the project.
The center provides open regular training about the foundations of applied ecology and eco project implementation. Learning is reciprocate, all learners teach one another; they can develop their own ideas and invite friends. One can also master the existing domains, such as working with beehives, vegetable gardens, permaculture, sustainable construction, festivals, pottery, music, and land art.
The main objects are:
A stream named after Olena Prekrasna, mentioned in the chronicle of the eco center as one having magical power. The residents always tell a legend about it to visitors.
Adobe brick bath was made by the settlers’ friends. Many visitors have already testified to its healing properties.
EL CALEUCHE is the name of a ghost ship near the banks of Chile. The ship crew watches over the shore in daylight and hang out with the pirates at night. The villagers use this name for their kitchen made of adobe bricks and old banners. This is the place for cooking healthy food, talking, and cheering together.
A 7-turn labyrinth of trees and berry bushes, just as the ones used for the rituals around the world. It is said that everyone who passes the labyrinth will find the answer to their main question. The labyrinth was opened on June, 8 in the company of good kind friends.
An api-house helps guests pick themselves up and cure themselves with the vibrations of bees.
Permaculture garden of fruits and vegetables is available for guests together with tuition, advice, care, secrets of growth, harvesting, and working together on the land.
Visitors can live in the eco center or in the houses nearby. Everyone who loves creating value and helping others is warmly welcome. The project combines business with charity and care about every guest, as we are all part of one environment.
