Due to the critical situation with heating, water, and electricity supply in cities, the network of ecovillages is opening its common spaces for temporary shelter.
These are not state shelters, but living communities with their own rules, customs, and responsibilities.

GEN Ukraine
The NGO `Global Ecovillage Network of Ukraine` was founed in 2018 to unite different types of ecological communities into a network.
The mission of the organisation is to unite and support the development of ecovillages and other sustainable communities in Ukraine in order to spread ecological values and the philosophy of a conscious life in society.

Green Road Ecovillages
Since February 2022 the main project of GEN Ukraine is the Green Road of Ecovillages, a network of locations in the countryside that host internally displaced people.
Since the beginning of the project around 3000 people have passed through our locations. The project has had several stages. It goes on and develops.
