The settlement called Schastlyva Zemlya (Lucky Land) is located in Ivano-Frankivsk region, Tysmenytsky district, near the Kozyn village. Founded in 2016, it currently consists of 6 privately owned farmsteads, each of 2 hectares. Five of them are now occupied by families. They have started gardens and have digged lakes and wells. At the moment, they are in the middle of growing vegetable gardens and building houses.

There is a forest and a water spring nearby. The village is surrounded by farmland owned in shares.

Life of the village is based on the ethics of vegetarianism, sustainability, honor, cleanness and consciousness. Already exploring the perspective of selling natural foods, the villagers plan to grow all the products they intend to use and sell them to the cities. All the work, such as development of a road and setting up electricity infrastructure, is currently done by the settlers. Sustainable construction technologies include mulching and smart gardening.

The settlers don’t use any unnatural materials such as household chemicals. The houses are made of wood and straw bags. One of the villagers is testing clay bag construction.

To spread their ideas, the village community issues a newspaper about eco-friendly settlements, communal living, and conservation.
